The interior architecture and decoration of the suites has been redesigned. These large suites did not correspond to the hotel’s standard.
Challenge
The challenge was to create virtual spaces by playing with volumes and different tones for each suite. These suites, while respecting hotel standards, had to give guests the impression that they were not in a hotel suite.
We had to bring in brightness, elegant materials and atypical objects to reproduce the ambience of an apartment. We had to create day-beds to accommodate families, and design special areas for teenagers and young children.
We worked on the interior layout, creating desks and shelves that complemented the space in a playful and functional way.
Results
Suites are very popular with guests, who find themselves in a luxury hotel suite, yet with the feeling of being at home in their own apartment. Suites have been designed to meet the needs of couples, families with children, or to host events and transform into showrooms.
At the hotel’s request, we specifically developed sofas and loungers to include the hotel’s standard bedding, and to provide storage space for items needed by the room staff when the sofa is converted into a bed.
The objects we bring back from our travels… Fabrics from neighboring fashion houses… Art and drawings, such as already exist in the hotel.
