HÔTEL LA FAUCEILLE 4* // PERPIGNAN

Context

Decoration and furnishings for a 4* hotel on the outskirts of town.

Hôtel La Fauceille is located on the outskirts of Perpignan, at the crossroads of the main roads leading to Spain and the Mediterranean. Designed for a business clientele but also for a relaxing getaway, the establishment wanted to assert a high-end 4-star identity in a contemporary architectural environment.

The challenge was to create a warm, elegant and functional atmosphere, both in the private areas (rooms and suites) and in the communal areas such as the restaurant.

Challenge

We created a décor adapted to the hotel’s identity for the restaurant, rooms and suites.

Our intervention consisted in translating the expectations of comfort, sophistication and durability into a decorative style consistent with the image of a 4-star hotel focused on the demands of its guests.

Result

  • The marquetry furniture for the bedrooms is modern and of the highest quality.
  • Art Deco-inspired lines have been added to the “Palace” armchairs (seats, meridiennes), specifically designed by Robert Clévier. Genuine ostrich leather furniture.
  • The rooms were designed to take account of operating constraints and room size. An interplay of mirrors, including lighting fixtures, gave the room an additional virtual space.
  • This project was designed to combine timeless elegance with hotel pragmatism. The layout took into account the optimization of space, while reinforcing the sense of comfort and quality perceived by guests. Each piece of furniture was custom-designed to fit naturally into the architecture of the premises.
  • The rooms reflect the same desire for uniqueness, with particular attention paid to materials, textures and light. Furniture becomes an element of identity in its own right.
  • Design by Robert Clévier.
  • Modernized Art Deco inspired lines, creation of specific furniture.
  • Creation of the Palace armchair by Robert Clévier, consoles made in the pure tradition of cabinetmakers, and modern marquetry work.

Robert Clévier used a contemporary interpretation of Art Deco codes to propose a bold, warm interpretation of hotel luxury. The choice of ostrich leather, graphic marquetry and curvaceous lines all contribute to creating an ambiance that is both singular and welcoming.
