Furniture design for a Ladurée restaurant in the seaside district.
A prestigious project designed to convey the elegance and refinement of 18th-century France in a bright, contemporary seaside setting.
The aim was to marry Ladurée’s stylistic heritage with the specificities of the local climate and atmosphere.
Challenge
We had to create an environment faithful to the Ladurée spirit, in 18th century French style. This involved in-depth historical and artisanal research to guarantee the authenticity and quality of the rendering.
Faithful reproduction of the ornaments, motifs and proportions typical of the great French cabinetmakers was at the heart of our approach.
We have researched the ornaments used by the great 18th-century French cabinet-makers, in order to be as close as possible to the style of the period. We created sofas, armchairs, tables and pedestal tables.
Each piece has been crafted with extreme attention to detail: carved moldings, patinated finishes, discreet gilding, and a choice of noble fabrics.
The furniture embodies a subtle balance between tradition and modernity, offering visitors an immersive experience in an elegant and convivial setting.
