Design and manufacture of furniture for the LADUREE restaurant in an upscale mall in Qatar.
An ambitious project that blends traditional French know-how with the contemporary demands of high-end design in a prestigious international commercial environment.
The aim was to create furniture that was luxurious, comfortable and emblematic of the refined image of the LADURÉE brand.
Challenge
Creation of sofas and armchairs in a modernized Napoleon III style. Adapting a classic style to a contemporary aesthetic called for great precision in execution, to preserve elegance while bringing modernity and lightness.
We developed personalized trimmings specific to each fabric. These hand-crafted details accentuate the furniture’s exclusivity and contribute to the visual richness of each piece, highlighting the textures and colors.
We designed tables in gold-tone iron and Carrara marble. The marriage of golden metal and white marble creates a subtle contrast between warmth and purity, reinforcing the luxurious identity of the space.
We chose luminaires in Murano crystal and others by Tom Dixon. This carefully orchestrated selection of lighting combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design, to create a luminous, elegant atmosphere punctuated by the play of reflections and subdued light.
